    Frequently asked questions
How is this different from Protect PDF?Protect PDF asks for a password to open the file. Confidential mode lets anyone open it but blocks printing, copying and editing.
Does every PDF reader respect it?Adobe Reader, browsers and most phone viewers do. A few tools ignore these limits, so add the watermark for extra protection.
Can people still take a screenshot?Yes, no PDF can stop a screenshot. The watermark shows on any copy, which is what discourages sharing.
Is it free?Yes. You sign in to your free Ifiok account when you download.
